Set within a Grade II listed 1830s corn mill, this design consultancy focused on bringing structure and warmth to a vast open-plan living space without losing its industrial character.

Designed for two creatives, the brief was less about prescribing a finished room and more about creating a framework they could build on over time. We developed a clearer zoning strategy for working, living, dining and entertaining, alongside ideas for a flexible partition, layered lighting, considered storage and a future kitchen direction.

Exposed brick, original timber and industrial metals form the foundation, softened with tactile textiles and warmer woods, while playful colour, graphic art and collected design pieces bring personality. The result is a space designed to feel industrial, warm, functional and playful — and unmistakably theirs.
